This is not only inspirational but beautifully moving. "Americans, may we all wake
to the dawn, this day, with courage, for we are the whirlwind promised by patriots who fought to the depth of a last breath to birth America. And we are here—there is no other time—to watch her rise again." Awesome!
One great thing about the poem is that it can take different settings, like the different tunes applied to Longfellow’s “I Heard The Bells On Christmas Day.” The video here could be dismissed as a mere campaign commercial if one were to be inclined toward an invidious reading, which I am not. Frost read as part of Kennedy’s inauguration, and Poets Laureate, if you will forgive the vulgar comparison, have offered their compositions. Why not a good one, for once? And if, in later years, a different setting is desired, I think this piece will support it.
I love it! I didn't realize Sasha would be creating the video, how cool is that. This is such a stunning poem, so many lines reached out and grabbed at my heart. Then to hear you read it aloud and watch the video, it made me cry. Thank you, thank you, for this.

I’m crying- this is so incredibly beautiful. Such a shame the entire country doesn’t have the privilege of hearing it on inauguration day!!!
Holy moly! Fight, indeed! Thanks for this.
Excellent and very moving
All of your images of America resonated deeply with me. Thanks for reinforcing these images for us all.
Outstanding! “There is no other time “

Wow. You did it. This is beautiful and powerful and moving and I didn’t even vote for DJT but I am a huge fan of your work Joseph Massey.

Really wonderful! The essence of this time extremely well captured.
Beautiful and moving! Such hope! And I’m not even American.
Destined to become a classic! Hopefully it reaches a broader audience as it should have on Monday... ☺️
