until silence

abides silence."

"Silence abides silence" reminded me of the hymn, " Abide With Me", and the line, "Abide with me, fast falls the eventide". Beautiful poem, profound sentiment.

The “shadows… / over uneven ground” is such an advanced technique. And that’s what makes you a poet. That you used the word “uneven,” here, in this way. I’d have to write multiple paragraphs to explain why I think it’s a perfect choice, so instead I’ll just say bravo.
