ii. from the inside out the mountain beginning to rust iii. early morning cold— visible breath shrouds the landscape iv. a cloud deck’s edge struck neon red by the half-sunk sun v. autumn excavates memory within memory vi. electronic church bells gouge through the almost quiet vii. leaves, rain-pasted, light the pavement— walking home at dusk viii. long enough alone to know night is kind, company
