I feel as though I have been on that walk.

The first two lines🤯🎯simple, yet so profoundly true…. and then the even more basic… and now get on with living. Beautiful🙂

Death seems to be constantly on my mind as of late. Trying to work through the significance of this. Lovely poem. 🩵

This is really beautiful! So many turns of phrase, metaphors uniquely applied. Thinking of death till it exhausts, thoughts themselves die. The Marian blue sky, love the reference to Virgin Mary. The human grist mill contracting the pure snow into its grit. Comparing the branches to neural networks and untangling, Your return to breath, dropping your gaze to regain balance :) Made me think of The Way of the Pilgrim. I love the final stanzas, a vanishing point gazing back at you.

Beautiful observations to lighten your thoughts. I especially liked this line: plastic crushed/into dim glitter/glinting in gravel.
