Breaks my heart.π₯Ίπ Just the awareness that we are all cracked, damaged and hurting in some way, but still hopeful for a better tomorrow is so empowering. We may be down, but weβre not out!ππ
Joseph, Iβm so thankful to have found you and become a subscriber. Itβs a blessing to be part of your life manifest in your photos and poetry. What a great gift. Thank you - God Bless.
Love it. If only John Milton had had a camera, he might have been a great poet. (Oh, sorry, seriously, before I typed I forgot that he went blind. I didn't mean anything, no connection or sarcasm there. It is meant as a commentary on technology and HOW WELL YOU EMPLOY YOUR CAMERA AND YOUR EYE)
This brought tears to my eyes. Cathartic. I'm in the midst of a hard moment in a hard day...in a hard two years. I'm letting myself feel that today. Before I get up off the mat. God bless you, Joseph, and everyone here in the comments section.
I like this and relate to it very much. Good one, Joseph. Thank you.

Some of your poems, like this one, really reach the mark on a given day. Thank you.
May 2026 provide you with the right dose of hurdles and highs.
Heavy, yet hopeful. So many good lines in this one.

We do not age by years; we age by stories.
If I were to truly measure this year, I would not count the days.
I would count the times the rain caught me unprepared and I chose to laugh instead of run.
I would count the nights I thought I would break, yet woke up the next morning to make tea and listen to the birds.
I would count the moments I allowed myself to be soft in a world that demanded I be made of steel.
Beautiful!
