For a moment there I forgot where I was! Thank you for this mornings out of body experience, and for the reminder what fully charged language actually is.

Such a beautiful last line. Warm light become a sacrament.

this really reminds me of how large snowstorms encase us in our homes and our inner being. Mumblings indeed. And the umber light in windows down the street is so lonesome and yet so reassuring.

I love this poem. Thank you. Reminded me when winter was my favorite season when I was a kid.

Under ... Color... Umber ... The return of the sounds is like prayer (or a rhythmic gait in darkness). Really beautiful.

Beautiful words. Brought to mind Stopping by Woods on a Snowing Evening. Did you take that picture? I can almost feel myself sitting there with the window slightly open and the hush of softly falling snow. Very peaceful.

I really like and am moved by this poem at night. Another reminder that the Lord lives 24/7.

I love so much of this, the scaffold, the umber. But having just finished the sorrowful mysteries rosary, the photograph is a chilling (excuse the pun) skeletal image of the crucifixion. 😲
